Principal's Page
Thank you for visiting our webpage at Friendship Elementary School!
I am honored to be your new principal! I am a proud resident of this community and I feel like I am coming back home to where my children began their education!!
I graduated from Ledford High School and went on the attend college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
After college, I returned home to Davidson County to enter the classroom as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher at Churchland Elementary for four years. I taught for several years and then became a proud mother of three children. I worked full time as a stay-at-home mom for 6 years and then returned to the schools to support all children as a Reading Specialist and Lead Teacher at Hasty Elementary.
As my educational career was growing, I went back to get my Master's Degree from Gardner-Webb University in Educational Leadership. For the past three years, I have served as the Assistant Principal at Wallburg Elementary. I am passionate about helping students grow and use their potential to be successful in all that they accomplish as they go through their lives.
Friendship Elementary School has dedicated teachers who provide the best education for their students offering best practices in their classroom. Our staff works collaboratively to analyze data and then plan remediation as well as enrichment activities. We aim for all students to be ready for the transition to middle school and high school and be college ready.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns regarding your child's well-being while here at Friendship. The safety of all students is our top priority; therefore, we are proud to have such caring and compassionate staff!!
It is a pleasure to serve you!
